What does your soul long for? What makes you sing with joy? If you follow your heart, where does it lead you? Where would you spend only one day if you could? Whatever your answer to those questions, it likely reflects something, someone or somewhere that you believe will make you happy, bring you peace, provide you security. In reality, there is only one place and one person who can provide all those things perfectly, that is the presence of the living God. Join us as we look at Psalm 84 and what it means too long for, journey to and dwell in the presence of God where we find true rest.

Resting in the Greatness and Goodness of God - Sabbatical Psalms

Pastor Warren Harvey returns to the pulpit to preach on Psalm 104, inaugurating the five-week series on the his favorite Sabbatical Psalms. What causes your soul to wonder, to marvel, to be in awe? A great sports achievement, an epic novel, a masterful work of art or music, a feat of technology? As grand and glorious as man’s achievements may be, they are but shadows of the grandeur and glory of God on display daily all around us in his creation. Psalm 104 calls us to wonder, to marvel, to be in awe at the greatness and goodness of God as we consider the works of his hand in the world all around us. Such wonder should lead us to rejoice as well as to rest in the powerful, providential arms of our God and Savior. Join us this Sunday as we consider how great is our God!
